Education begins at home and every child by nature is curious and a learner already. Here at Assembly of Christ School, we strive to provide the environment to nurture our community of learners. Furthermore, we learn best by communicating and interacting with one another which is absolutely vital to tackle the toughest problems and challenges we face in our world. We therefore aspire to promote collaborative learning by partnering with various agencies and Institutions and by using the collective inputs from various people including teachers and parents.

One of the core principles behind proper education is the realization that not all intelligence is manifested the same way or in other words, intelligence has many forms. Albert Einstein once explained this by saying that if one expects a fish to climb a tree, it will live its whole life considering itself inferior. One of our responsibilities is therefore to identify and develop multiple types of intelligence. A healthy body and mind complement each other and help us grow holistically. All-round development of each child is therefore essential and we will work on this through a well balanced curriculum of academic and co-curricular activities. Thus the formation of an individual with strong values under the guidance of our well trained and caring faculty is our goal which we strive to achieve.

I am happy and proud at the opportunity to once again be able to contribute to the school magazine. At Assembly of Christ School, we teach our students to be the people of conscience, competence, compassion and commitment. Along with academic excellence, in which students are trained to understand and analyse the challenges they face in life using critical and creative thinking skills, we place a strong emphasis on developing human excellence in our students, so that they develop empathy, social responsibility and the ability to distinguish between the good and the bad and grow as people of great moral and spiritual character. One of the greatest strengths of ACS is cura personalis (care for the individual person). We see our students as powerhouses of talent and resources to be nurtured through a proper process of personal accompaniment rather than empty buckets to be filled with a large amount of information.

The school curriculum is designed to facilitate intellectual, affective, moral and spiritual growth of each student. Transforming individual persons who in turn initiate the processes of transformation to make this world a better place has been one of the main focus of education imparted at Assembly of Christ School. We have upheld the vision of our Founders and even as we conclude the academic year we pledge ourselves anew to the realisation and actualization of their efforts and intent

Our school has been exemplary in imparting quality education to students and nurturing their co-scholastic abilities. Way back in the year 1998, when we started our journey with one stand alone building, little did we imagine that we would celebrate this occasion in such grand fashion. Years of struggle, dedication and hard work of the management, teachers and staff have enabled us to scale such great heights. Our journey has been enriched by numerous National and International Awards won by the school for excellence in various fields. The success of our alumni speak high of the holistic grooming they received in Assembly of Christ School. Being a part of the ACS Community, indeed, is an honour for me.

I know this is just the beginning and we have long days of prosperity and fulfilment ahead of us as I believe in the promise of the Lord:
